Desktop app

A desktop app for LucidLink administrators. Manage users, groups, and permissions from a simple interface, and run Python scripts to automate your own workflows.

System requirements

  • macOS: 12 (Monterey) or later
  • Windows: 10 or later (64-bit)
  • Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or later / Debian-based
  • Python 3.10+ on PATH (required to run scripts)
  • LucidLink Management API deployed on your infrastructure (container deployment guide)

Getting started

  1. Download and install

    Download the installer for your platform and follow the standard installation steps.

  2. Connect to your API

    Launch the app and enter your LucidLink API base URL (e.g., http://localhost:3003) and your bearer token. The token is a service account secret key; see Authentication.

  3. Select a filespace

    Choose a filespace from the dropdown to start managing users and groups and running scripts.
