Copy Group Permissions

Script

Copy all folder permissions from one group to another within a filespace. Optionally creates the target group if it does not exist. Supports batch mode via CSV for bulk group permission copying.

In the Admin Assistant

The Admin Assistant already has this built in: open Tools and select Copy Group Permissions. Nothing to install.

As a script

This download is the script version of the same tool, for running it from the command line or automating it. To also run it from the app's Scripts section:

Download the script
Download the ZIP file for Copy Group Permissions.
Unzip it into your scripts directory
Unzip it into the Admin Assistant's scripts directory (~/LucidLink/plugins/ unless you changed it in Settings). It creates a copy-group-permissions folder.
Reload scripts
In the Admin Assistant, open Settings and click Reload Scripts. Copy Group Permissions appears in the Scripts section of the Tools page.
