LucidLink File Search

Desktop app

Find files and folders in a LucidLink filespace by name. Supports substring, glob, and regex patterns, streams results as they are found, and lets you reveal in the file manager, open, or copy paths with a single click.

System requirements

  • macOS: 12 (Monterey) or later
  • Windows: 10 or later (64-bit)
  • Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or later / Debian-based
  • A folder you can read: a LucidLink filespace, a local folder, or a network share

Getting started

  1. Install and launch

Download the installer for your platform and open the app. No sign-in or API key is needed.

  2. Pick a folder to search

Browse to any folder you can read: your LucidLink filespace, a project folder, or anywhere on disk.

  3. Enter a pattern and choose a match mode

Use substring for simple lookups, glob for wildcard patterns like *.mov, or regex for anything more specific.

  4. Work with the results

Each match has one-click actions: show it in your file manager, open it, or copy its full path. You can keep working while results come in.
