Generate Direct Links

Script

Enumerate files and folders in a filespace path and export a CSV with a shareable direct link for each entry. Works in Admin Assistant app mode or standalone from the command line.

Walks a filespace directory tree from the specified path and generates a CSV file containing a shareable direct link for every file and folder found, using the Direct Links API. Useful for sharing specific assets with external collaborators or building link manifests for large asset libraries.

Output

A CSV file with columns: path, name, type, direct_link, size. Saved to the specified output directory with a timestamp in the filename.

Usage modes

In the app: Run it from the Admin Assistant Tools page. Fill in the form and click Run.
From the command line: Run it directly with Python. It prompts for your token and filespace if you leave them out.
