LucidLink Network Doctor
Desktop appFind out whether your network is slowing LucidLink down. Runs speed, reachability, latency, firewall, proxy, TLS-inspection, and VPN checks. A tray monitor warns you when your filespace session drops and new work can't sync, and keeps a 7-day history.
v1.2.0
2026-10-16Latest- New Support button in the header: Export support bundle saves a zip of the app's logs to your Downloads folder and shows it, Open log folder opens where the logs are kept, and Debug logging adds extra detail while you reproduce a problem
- The app now keeps a plain-text log of what it does, one file per day, kept for 7 days. Each error has a code such as AA-NDR-016 that matches the app's troubleshooting page in the Support Confluence space
- API tokens, passwords and keys are scrubbed from the logs before they are written
- Every diagnostic check result is logged with its measured values. The background monitor logs only status changes, not every sample
- The support bundle includes the monitor history
- Proxy user names and passwords set in proxy environment variables are masked on screen, in Copy report and the exported report, and in the log. The proxy host and port still show
- Security update to the TLS library
v1.1.2
2026-08-18- Fixed a false session alert on filespaces that were working normally. The LucidLink client briefly reports "no active session" each time it renews its access in the background, about every ten minutes, and these were being counted as an outage
- The check now looks at how long a problem lasts rather than how often it appears, so real outages are still reported and routine renewals are not
- Renamed the "SSO session" finding to "Filespace session". Most filespaces don't use SSO, and the old wording asked people to repeat a sign-in they never did. The recovery steps now fit every sign-in type
- An ongoing session outage is still reported as before, and an outage that has recovered still reminds you to check that recent work synced
v1.1.1
2026-08-14- Fixed a false "SSO session is down, new work is not saving" alert that appeared every time a filespace reconnected. On LucidLink Classic that meant every sleep and wake, Wi-Fi or VPN drop, and app restart, even though the client signs back in normally
- A session that dropped and came back with nothing left to upload is now reported as healthy instead of as work at risk
- The connection warning now clears as soon as the connection returns, instead of staying up for the rest of the hour
- Real session loss is still reported exactly as before, including while work is waiting to upload
v1.1.0
2026-08-04- Detects when your filespace session drops while storage still reports connected. In that state new work can't sync and can be lost if the app restarts
- Warns when changes are still waiting to upload while the connection is impaired, with safe recovery steps
- The tray icon shows an alert badge, and the status view shows a banner, when work may not be saving
- Sends one desktop notification when a filespace becomes at risk, instead of one on every check
- Optional start at login, plus a first-run note that the app keeps watching from the tray
- Checks for a newer version and links to the download
- Linux packages now list the tray dependency they need
v1.0.1
2026-07-15- Always-on background monitor, system tray icon, and a rolling 7-day log you can send to LucidLink Support
