LucidLink Unicode Duplicates

Desktop app

Find files whose names look identical but are stored differently because of Unicode normalization (NFC vs NFD). Review each pair side by side, then delete, rename, or add a suffix to resolve it.

System requirements

  • macOS: 12 (Monterey) or later
  • Windows: 10 or later (64-bit)
  • Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or later / Debian-based
  • The LucidLink desktop app with a filespace connected on this computer

Getting started

  1. Install and launch

Download the installer for your platform, install it, and open the app. No API connection is needed. It works directly on your connected filespace.

  2. Choose a folder to scan

Pick any folder in your filespace. The tool scans it and lists the duplicate pairs it finds in each folder.

  3. Review and apply

Each pair is shown with its details. Choose an action (keep, delete, rename, or add a suffix) and click Apply.
